At BuySpares, we are committed to supporting the exceptional work done by our chosen charity the John Taylor Hospice. Over the last 18 months we have organised and participated in a number of fundraising events including staff members taking part in the  Great Midlands Fun Run, a quiz and auction evening, workplace raffles and even our own take on movember.

The John Taylor Hospice is a Birmingham-based charity that provides a range of quality specialist medical, nursing, clinical and social care services for people with life-threatening illnesses in a caring and friendly environment. We have a long-standing relationship with the charity and have so far raised in excess of £6000 and this figure is continuing to grow all the time.

In the New Year we will be releasing a new innovation on our website that will give our customers the option to support the hospice as well – so watch this space!

Alongside raising funds and awareness, we try to support the Hospice in anyway possible, for example we have recently donated a number of printers to help them in the efficient and successful running of their operations.

We hope to make 2012 our best fundraising year yet and, of course, we will be keeping you update with all our activities here on the BuySpares Blog.
