5 Laundry Essentials You Must Have

Laundry EssentialsThe change in the weather means you are probably going to be reliant on tumble drying to ensure your clothes are washed and dry in time for work and play. In this post we look at some of the innovative and essential laundry accessories available for washing machines and tumble dryers. We cover everything from care products to maintain your appliances through to money saving aids and tips for averting laundry disasters.

Tumble Dryer Balls

A great alternative to buying fabric softener, this pair of balls have nodes that work the fibres of your laundry. The balls can be reused wash after wash and they can even speed up drying times. In our earlier tumble dryer post, we look at the benefits of tumble dryer balls in more detail.

Vent Kit

You need the steam produced by your tumble dryer to be able to escape. To do this you need to use a venting solution. There are several available and it will depend on the type of tumble dryer you have. In an earlier venting post we discuss each option in detail, but one of the easiest ways is to invest in a complete venting kit. These kits contain everything you need, including vent hoses and wall outlets.

Washing Nets

Delicates can easily get damaged in the wash, especially clothes with intricate detailing. A wash bag helps to protect your delicates and separate them from the rest of the wash.  Washing nets are typically used for cleaning items such as underwired bras, sweaters and items with buttons or decorative features. Placing these items inside the mesh washing net, before adding the net to the wash, helps protect the items from being damaged during the wash cycle. It will also keep buttons and decorations from pulling off the clothes or delicate items snagging on the drum.

Colour Catcher Sheets

If your not that confident when it comes to separating out you laundry, or you live in fear of dying your whites a vibrant shade of red, then this handy product could well be the answer. Dylon colour catcher sheets enable you to wash mixed loads with the confidence that if a colour runs it will be absorbed by the sheet rather than other items of clothing.

Descaler

Your washing machine is a risk of limescale damage if you live in a hard water area. Limescale can cause your machine to run inefficiently, which can end up costing you more money in utility bills and may even shorten the lifespan of the appliance. You can learn more about how limescale damage occurs by reading our limescale blog post.

Repairing an appliance or replace it with a newer one depends on some parameters like:
1.Buying a new appliance will be a huge investment for your pocket, are you at present ready for it?
    2. For costly appliances repairing may be economical
    3. If your appliance is older enough and it does not have updated technologies like energy saving, water saving and other facilities then it is better to replace it.
    Thanks for the post….
