Make sure you get your barbeque ready before the weekend to ensure its working and you have all the necessary items. Renovation

Have you been planning a renovation in your home? Whether it’s refitting your bathroom or redecorating a room, use the bank holiday to either make a start on your renovation project or even put the wheels in motion and start to lay out the plans for your task.

Days out

Bank holidays are a great time to enjoy a day out with family and friends. There are so many events and places to visit around the UK that you can enjoy over the bank holiday weekend; we’ve included a few you might enjoy.

If you or your children enjoy Star Wars, there will be themed activities at Legoland to celebrate the arrival of the exciting new 500,000 brick model of the death star. If you come in Star Wars fancy dress you can be entered into their competition they hold daily.

Just re-opened, the water based ‘ninja warrior’ inspired obstacle course will be a great activity for the whole family. It includes trampolines, monkey bars and an ice climbing tower.

There are lots of National Trust properties to explore in the UK. You can go on a walk around luscious grounds, visit exhibitions or enjoy afternoon tea in one of their cafes. There are also plenty of activities for the kids to take part in.

Bank holiday normally means seeing friends and family, so what better way to keep them happy than with a bit of baking. There are lots of spring recipes out there for you to try over the bank holiday weekend and impress people with your baking abilities.
